Charlie
Written by Layne Case
Illustrations by Pat Sciacca
Charlie is a dog who just can't seem to do anything right.
He keeps getting into trouble, so he decides to run away from home. But what he
encounters makes him appreciate what he had.
Charlie is a children's book I wrote some thirty years ago
for a children's literature class project while in college. I
knew I wanted to write a book that would help children know that
others experience similar feelings. The illustrations were hand drawn by my
sister, which makes this book even more meaningful.
I've
always dreamed of publishing this book one day...finally, the dream has come
true.
