City Puppies: Newburyport Edition

City Puppies is the outgrowth of a modest project. In its third year of business, City Puppies has grown to reach more than 400 homes across New England.
While my first edition was completed in just less than 9 months, this third edition has been completed in just fewer than 4. While City Puppies continues to grow – my desire to stay small business oriented has not diminished. City Puppies is a small business with few missions. Not only to continue to succeed but to also help out those less fortunate animals who do not have a say in the outcome of their life. A healthy diet, exercise and a loving family are really all that a dog needs to live a happy life.
Although my job is a lot of fun and does not need to be taken seriously – the goal of helping dogs is something that I take very serious. It upsets me to hear of a neglected dog due to the lack of understanding the facts associated with raising a dog: they are expensive, they need attention, and they need love.
I can honestly say that each dog in this book proved to me that it is healthy and happy. To me that represents more happy dogs out there than unhappy dogs. That makes me feel better about my job.
City Puppies will soon be in the position where we will be able to help the fight against animal cruelty. Keep checking the website for more information or ways that you too can help out.
This book has taken a great deal of effort, on the parts of many, but it is all worthwhile when I get to see someone enjoying these beautiful pictures and brilliant stories. I sincerely remember each one of these dogs and the brief time we spent together. I hope they touch your hearts as they have mine.
